Crab Du Jour is Celebrating an Anniversary & First Responders
Crab Du Jour's Wilmington, DE location is Celebrating their First Anniversary with a Ribbon-Cutting Event, Entertainment, & Feeding First Responders on June 9th
Crab Du Jour opened its doors to the surrounding community in Wilmington, DE, and visitors to the restaurant have been enjoying their delicious seafood ever since. Now a year later, Crab Du Jour is bringing out all the bells and whistles for their one-year anniversary celebration.
On Thursday, June 9th from 4pm until 9pm, Crab Du Jour will have a live marching band with local mascots entertaining the crowds during their ribbon-cutting celebration. And as a huge thanks for all they do, Crab Du Jour invited First Responders and Health Care Workers to attend and enjoy complimentary dinner on them!
So as attendees enjoy the live music and fan-fare from the local mascots doing what they do best, Crab Du Jour will continue with their own tradition.
After opening Crab Du Jour began feeding first responders and healthcare workers, and when the pandemic hit they significantly ramped up that initiative. Now they want to give back even more by feeding as many doctors, nurses, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and hospital workers as possible during this event. Additionally, Delaware State representatives and other local civic leaders will also be in attendance to honor these local heroes and celebrate Crab Du Jour’s anniversary .
“When we opened in Wilmington, we knew we were debuting in an amazing community that was on the rise,” said Crab Du Jour Vice President Beau Stickley in a press release. “That community has supported us, and first responders have supported us all, so this is the least we could do to celebrate our first year in business in Delaware. We’re inviting a band, some mascots, local leaders, and as many first responders and healthcare workers that we can get into the building, and we expect this to be a huge celebration.”
The McKean High School Marching Band, behind band director Kevin Reaves, will perform music during the ribbon cutting and throughout the event, while several local amateur and professional teams’ mascots will be on-site to entertain the first-responder heroes who are able to attend.
If you are interested in attending, Crab Du Jour is located at 2107 Concord Pike in Wilmington, DE at The Shops at Fairfax Shopping Center. And please feel free to visit any of their 85 locations and taste for yourselves their delicious meals.
