Your *New* New Year’s Resolution should be the “Dried January” Challenge from Side Project Jerky and Liquid Death Mountain Water.
Side Project Jerky’s owner, Marcos Espinoza is teaming up with Liquid Death Mountain Water to bring a new take on a popular New Year’s Resolution, known to many as a “Dry January.”
Typically, individuals who proclaim that they will participate in a Dry January cease drinking anything containing alcohol beginning January 1st through the end of the month until midnight on January 31st.
Likewise, Marcos Espinoza saw a perfect opportunity to incentivize people who wanted to participate by creating “Dried January” and offering rewards for sticking with the month-long challenge.
“This is an incentive to stick with it,” Espinoza said. “If you stay the course, we want to reward you. We know it won’t be easy for some, but as the month goes on, we’ll keep increasing the prizes that contestants can win. We hope to be able to give away a lot of jerky and swag.”
Some of the incentives that are being offered include prize packages with the chef-driven jerky from Side Project Jerky along with Liquid Death Mountain Water, and merchandise from each brand. The challenge, which began on January 1st, is social media-driven, with participants joining via an Instagram post.
