NAPA Auto Parts Brings Indoor Auto Racing To The Jersey Shore
On Saturday NAPA Auto Parts brought there indoor midget racing circuit to Atlantic City. The popular Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall played host to the entertaining event as. hundreds of fans braved the elements of the winter storm that ravaged the New Jersey shore.
Day 1 Qualifying Race Highlights
The first highlight of the night came when a crash occurred on the 4th turn in the first qualifying race. Two cars collided on the turn with one hitting the wall and being up ended.
In the second qualifying race the #56 car driven by Trevor Catalans had leaked that drew a yellow caution flag. When the race continued it was eventually won by Matt Janisch in the #2 car.
The second qualifier went off with out a hitch as the #55 car would take the checkered flag. The third qualifying race would see a plethora of calamities starting with Christopher Hirst catching a flat in the #97 car. Next the #73 car got turned the wrong way on the 2nd lap. Eventually Joe Bailey in the #1B car would finish in first place
