Fill your minds with wonder when you visit the newly re-imagined Wonderspaces inside the Center City Philadelphia’s Fashion District.
After having to close its doors in March of 2020 due to the shut-downs, Wonderspaces re-opened in July of 2021 with all new health and safety protocols. The immersive experience showcases art installations from when it initially opened, as well as several newly acquired exhibits. Each artist’s exhibits range from fun to thought provoking, captivating your imagination and creating the opportunity to explore the world through each work of art.
When you visit, come prepared to interact. You and your whole family can get creative by painting the walls through the magic of technology with Memo Akten’s “Body Paint,” or produce a musical masterpiece at the touch of your fingers with “On A Human Scale” by Mathew Mathew.
There are fourteen exhibits inside Wonderspaces, all offering a chance for you to explore your artistic creativity, or giving you the chance to connect to others through exhibits like “Before I Die” by Candy Chang, or “The Last Word” by Illegal Art.
And when you need to take a break from all the wonderful art, you can discuss your favorite exhibits while sipping on some delightful cocktails available at Wonderspaces newly re-opened bar—Cheer to that!
You can visit Wonderspaces during their new fall hours, which is open Wednesday to Friday, 12:00pm Noon to 10:00pm, Saturday, 10:00am to 10:00pm and Sunday, 10:00am to 8:00pm and is located at 27 N 11th St, with entrances located both inside the Fashion District and outside on 11th Street.
